Sans Emotions Humaines

For those of you who don't know, I had a dream about Glass Joe. However, this was not the kind, timid Joe that we all know.

He was a farmer in the French countryside who had begun to hate humanity for encroaching on his land and polluting the environment. He decided to renounce his humanity and become a boxer.

Later, two people were found murdered in the country. Everyone knew Joe hated people, so they naturally suspected him. He actually hadn't hurt anyone, but he had suspicions of who the murderers were. When they brought him in for questioning, he looked at the interrogators and said:

"If I had human being emotions, I would say I am glad to see you."

I later got the impression that Dream!Joe was a misunderstood "villain" and probably had some kind of mental illness. He wasn't really evil; he just expected that people were bad and therefore wanted to avoid them. I felt kind of sorry for him.

I also thought he was kind of a badass, too, so I drew him.

Strangely enough, in the dream, I never got a clear picture of Joe, so I had to use my imagination. The result is a sort of "OMGSH EMO CRAWLING IN MY SKIN" Joe, but hey, I think that's how Dream!Joe would look.
